Castout
Term used to describe individuals who have been excommunicated by a high-control group

Congregation

Disfellowshipped
A Jehovah’s Witness term to describe an individual who is excommunicated

Disassociated
A Jehovah’s Witness term to describe an individual who has left the Jehovah’s Witnesses voluntarily

Judicial Committee
Jehovah’s Witnesses internal disciplinary board

Judicial Reproof
A type of sanction in the Jehovah’s Witnesses. An individual rebuke for members who have transgressed doctrinal rules, but are found to be genuinely repentant. All cases of judicial reproof lead to the withdrawal of special privileges. Judicial reproof can be made in private or publicly in front of the congregation.
