Blindly Cut Off Loved Ones
When you are a believing Jehovah’s Witness, you smugly think you recognise the corruption and hypocrisy in society, while you may be completely blind to how corrupt your own religious leaders are.
They can take your money, your time, your love, your life, and you don’t ever question it.
In fact, you are unwilling to question their motives because they have convinced you that to question them is to question the “theocratic arrangement”. And to question the “theocratic arrangement” is to question God.
But what do you know about these men? Who are they? What do they do in their spare time? Who put them in their position? Do you trust these men whom you don’t know more than you trust the men and women whom you do know?
If you answer “no” to that last question, as a believing Jehovah’s Witness, then I must ask:
Do you follow the tenets of the Jehovah’s Witnesses as written down in The Watchtower to the point where you do not question the direction?
If your answer to that question is “no” then you are not a loyal, obedient Jehovah’s Witness.
If your answer is “yes”, then you trust those men whom you know little or nothing about more than the men and women whom you do know.
Is it any wonder then that you completely accept what you are told, with the result being that you’ll cut off sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncle’s, grandparents and grandchildren to show your loyalty and obedience?
No normal thinking person does this to family.
